PU Adhesive is specially designed to give durable and economical fixing of Castile Promenade Tiles to asphalt and roofing felt. During curing, the adhesive absorbs moisture from the atmosphere and expands providing a firm support to the tile. This results in an effective and practical fixing method which can be used in damp and humid conditions.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Cut the nozzle of the adhesive bottle to give the correct size of the adhesive bead. 3mm bead size is recommended.
2. Apply the adhesive to the back of the tile by gently squeezing the bottle to produce 3mm high beads in a zig-zag pattern as below. Leave approximately 20mm clear of adhesive at the edges of the tile to allow for handling and expansion of the adhesive.
3. Tiles cut to less than half size are not recomended. Procedure for full tile should be followed.
4. Surfaces must be free from dust and grease. Do not prepare more than six tiles at a time. The surface can be damp but not wet. Do not apply in frosty conditions or in temperatures under 5 C.
5. When the adhesive has been applied, the tile should be positioned and gently pressed into place ensure good contact. Work away from the tiled area to avoid early trafficking.
6. Replace the Cap on the bottle to store but expel as much air from the bottle as possible first.
